Rare Tea Company
There is a confusing array of teas on the market today. Most tea companies offer a huge range from the mediocre to the good. Rare Tea is not that sort of company. Owner, Henrietta Lovell has been personally sourcing all the teas since 2004. The teas are not mass-produced in large industrial gardens. These whole leaves and tips are skilfully produced by artisans and tea masters. Henrietta samples the finest and just selects the best. All of the Rare Ta Company teas are fair trade: they don't haggle with their farmers; they pay them what they ask. Packaging is kept to a minimum - foil pouches to ensure freshness and re-useable tins. All teas are sea-freighted to minimise the companys carbon footprint.
