The Art of the Larder with Claire Thomson

Organising your larder so that it can provide you with economical and delicious family meals every day is indeed an art.  Claire will explain the staples you need to keep in stock and how to supplement them with seasonal produce to cook up a storm day in, day out.  This class is based on Claire’s latest book The Art of the Larder - good food from your storecupboard every day.  Recipes in the book are inspired by her travels from China to Africa and everywhere in between and include: sour cherry and pistachio pilaf, fire cracker noodles and date & semolina bars.  Join Claire on this hands on class as she shares some of her favourites with you.

Chef, author and blogger Claire lives in Bristol.  She is the author of three cookbooks and is a columnist for The Guardian and the family food ambassador for the National Trust.  She has appeared on Saturday Kitchen and Radio 4 Woman’s Hour.  On social media she posts as @5oclockapron and she is co-founder of the children’s food entertainment website Table of Delights.
