A rare opportunity to join the fabulous Eleonora Galasso for this class celebrating la dolce vita of cooking the way the Romans do. This class is based on her new book which celebrates the glamour of the Roman style of life. From crispy pastries to vibrant packed snacks (merende), family lunches to feed a crowd and romantic recipes for two, As the Romans Do is a patchwork of recipes and anecdotes in much the same way that Rome itself is like an open air museum, full of characters from the 80 year old lady cleaning artichokes in the food market to the lawyer enjoying a quick coffee at the counter. Eleonora's guiding principle is food happiness, a philosophy which jumps out of her book and is evident as soon as you meet her.
Eleonora studied at the trained at the Ateneo Italiano della Cucina in Rome and has a master’s degree in gastronomy and food culture. She travelled the world as a journalist and then set up a food consultancy in Rome teaching cookery workshops, catering private events and running a clandestine restaurant. As the Romans Do is her first book.
