Basque: Recipes from San Sebastian and Beyond with Jose Pizarro

We are delighted to welcome back Jose Pizarro to the kitchen following two sell out hands on classes.  The Basque region of Northern Spain is home to the most Michelin-starred restaurants per head in the world but also has a fabulous tradition of home cooking and, of course, wonderful tapas in the region's bars. Local dishes include the traditional bacalao (salt cod with pisto and allioli) and hake a la plancha with potatoes and Romesco sauce. Join Jose to explore some of these well loved dishes and learn to create some classic tapas.

José Pizarro, the Godfather of Spanish cooking in the UK, worked in the award-winning Meson de Doña Filo in Madrid before coming to London.  Co-founder of the Brindisa restaurants, he now has three of his own restaurants in London. José is a regular on BBC 1's Saturday Kitchen and Channel 4's Sunday Brunch, amongst others.  Basque is his third book.
