Ping will be helping you to recreate recipes from her stunning new book In her last class with us, Ping created an authentic Laksa paste and the class cooked Malaysian prawn fritters, spicy lemongrass and chicken lettuce wrap, prawn and chicken laksa and black rice pudding with coconut milk and mango. This class will contain all new recipes so you can learn even more secrets of the cuisine of Malaysia.
Ping grew up eating her mother’s Malaysian food, which sometimes involved days of preparation. When she left home she learned to cook in order to recreate the food she loved. After being made redundant, a friend persuaded her to enter Masterchef and the rest is history! Now she describes her food as casual Malaysian food with a twist. She demonstrates regularly at food shows and hosts pop ups and supper clubs. Ping will enspire you with her infectious enthusiasm for the food of Malaysia. Her first book Malaysia:Recipes from a Family Kitchen is out now.
