Sri Lankan Masterclass with Marj Lang

Join this class where Marj, inspired by her travels will show you how to get the taste of authentic Sri Lankan home cooking and streetfood.   From hoppers (rice flour pancakes eaten for breakfast) to curries made from fish, pineapple and aubergine, dahl and coconut sambal and a typical jaggery and cashew pudding, you will recreate the spicy, fragrant food of this beautiful island.  To go with your curries, you will make string hoppers (rice noodles) from scratch.

Marj Lang was the MasterChef Champion in 2000. Since winning, Marj has pursued a career in food, working in food styling and teaching.  She has a particular interest in Asian food having spent 7 years living and working in Tokyo and travelling in the region regularly.
