We are beyond excited to welcome back Lisa Goodwin-Allen to the Kitchen. Executive Chef of Northcote Manor since the age of 23, Lisa has led the team that has helped to consistently maintain its Michelin star since 2018. A champion of locally sourced, seasonal cuisine, Lisa creates innovative and stunning dishes inspired by the Lancastrian landscape.
Originally trained at the Champigon Sauvage in Cheltenham, Lisa is well known for her success on BBC 2’s Great British Menu where, in 2010, her dish of Wild Rabbit and Leek Turnover with Piccalilli was served to Prince Charles. She was the first female chef to win. Lisa went on to win three of the six dishes in the 2020 Christmas Menu. She has appeared on MasterChef – The Professionals as a chef mentor to the semi-finalists and is a regular guest on James Martin’s Saturday Morning. She was named Hotel Chef of the Year 2019 and is a member of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts.
