We know that many of you follow Richard on social media but for those of you who don’t you may have missed Richard’s recent trip to the place of his birth, Brittany. He was invited by Tourisme Bretagne to gather some like minded chefs to spend 4 days touring the best foodie places the region has to offer. Amongst others, Richard chose Stéphane Delourme, a fellow Breton anglophile, who has spent the last 25 years as Rick Stein’s Head Chef and Group Chef for the Rick Stein empire.
Together they visited the restaurants of Michelin starred chefs, visited a school dedicated to the art of Breton crêpe, tasted cider, shucked the freshest oysters, had a boat trip to Atelier Morisseau where they ate the most fabulous, fresh seafood platter and between them cooked and baked for a reception of over 200 people. Along with catching up with family and Richard’s old bakery boss in Le Port Du Crouesty, this was a remarkable trip for both Richard and Stephane.
They now want to share some of the amazing Brittany produce with you in this late summer Chef’s Table. This class will run slightly differently to our usual classes and start at 2pm, with the build up cooking continuing until you all sit down to enjoy the feast a few hours later. Of course, there will be lots of delicious tastings throughout the afternoon, before you sit down for this special dinner. Along with Richard and Stephane you will be recreating some amazing seafood dishes with the freshest possible ingredients. There will be a Breton cocktail to start with canapés followed by 3 courses along with some extras of course.

The wine will be carefully chosen to match the food throughout the meal. There will be plenty of skills to learn during the class and you will take away some new skills to add to your repertoire.
