Italian cooking relies on the abundance of home grown ingredients that the country has to offer and Spring is no exception. Join us for this hands on cooking class for a wonderful seasonal feast of Italian dishes with Valentina Harris who is a much loved and noted authority on Italian Food. Valentina will teach you the skills and provide you with the knowledge to get the most from these sun rich ingredients.
You will start by making a spicy squid and chard topping for bruschetta, followed by an Italian classic of baked polenta with tomatoes. The main dish will be Milanese braised shin steaks with a perfect saffron risotto. Finish the feast with a seasonal fruit semifreddo and a delicious, crumbly polenta cake. This will be a truly memorable day of Italian cooking with Valentina.
The day starts at 10am, will finish around 3.30pm and includes lunch with wine.
