We know that some of you would love to get your kids into the kitchen, so why not come and try bread making together with us. This class will be taken by Jen Crabtree and will be based on Richard Bertinet’s award winning book DOUGH.
Learn how to make and work the dough to create a range of breads from two simple doughs in this hands-on family bread making class. There will be plenty of hands on dough time and and your skills will be honed while you focus on working with both a white and an olive oil enriched dough. From these you will make a variety of breads including tin loaves, fougasse, olive and pecorino bread sticks and a focaccia.
You will leave us with full recipes to carry on your bread making at home as well as plenty of bread that you have baked.
The day starts at 10am with breakfast and will finish at 2pm after you have had some lunch with us. Please bring a bag with you so that you can take home some of your delicious creations. This class is not limited to parents – Grannys, Aunts and Uncles or older siblings are also welcome. Additional Junior places also available, please contact us for information. The age range for the children on this class is 8 to 17.
