Learning to cook from scratch is a vital life skill and preparing healthy, delicious veg’ centric meals is a win-win, it’s as good for us as it is for the planet.
Come along to the kitchen with one or two of your children aged 7 to 17 and spend some quality time where we teach you both some new skills. Today we will make a halloween hummus with homemade crisps, spiced root veg’ fritters and a vibrant chop-chop salad packed with fruit, greens, nuts and seeds. To finish we will make a seasonal fruit galette, served with a chocolate sauce.
During the class we’ll also talk about food waste, packaging and sourcing good, seasonal food.
All the recipes are from Jenny’s wonderful new book Green Kids Cook.
Not limited to parents – Grannys, Aunts and Uncles or older siblings also welcome! Additional Junior places also available, please contact us for information.
The cost of this class includes 1 adult and 1 child or young person.
