Fresh from a whistle-stop tour of the USA, we are absolutely thrilled to have Sarit and Itamar of London Middle Eastern eatery Honey & Co joining us in the kitchen.
Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich opened Honey & Co in 2012, launching their restaurant Honey & Smoke and deli Honey & Spice close behind all of which they run with the help of their amazing team. Cooking and baking since she was five, Sarit trained at Butler’s Wharf, then worked at the Orrery under Chris Galvin, J Sheekey, The OXO Tower, Ottolenghi and Nopi. Itamar Srulovich was born and raised in Jerusalem. Itamar trained on the job in various places in Tel-Aviv where he met Sarit. Honey & Co Food From the Middle East (2014) was named Cookbook of the Year by The Sunday Times (UK), Fortnum & Mason Food & Drink Awards Cookery Book of the Year 2015, and The Guild of Food Writer’s (UK) Award Winner for Best First Book. Their new book Honey & Co At Home is now out to rave reviews. The pair also write a weekly column for the FT Weekend Magazine and produce Honey & Co: The Food Talks their podcast chatting to the foodie makers, writers and thinkers that they admire most.
Join us for the special festive class where they will show you how to make the most delicious food for entertaining including cherry, herb and freekeh tabule, lamb with rocket, figs & walnuts and tahini cake with lemon & white chocolate.
