Greece has a rich cultural heritage that informs the recipes from this diverse country. Classic Mediterranean flavours that are infused by the sun burst from every region giving it a rich food history.
Today you will be cooking a selection of classic Greek dishes. We will be starting with a beetroot and dill tzatziki and a skordalia (garlic dip). You will be making some pitta chips to serve with your dips. You will follow this with some spanakoptita fritters to go alongside chicken wings with lemon and oregano, all bursting with Mediterranean flavours.
Finally a sweet treat. You will be making some feta, cherry and white chocolate cookies, a perfect ending for this Greek mezze feast.
Please bring a bag and/or a large container with you so that you can take home some of your delicious creations.
This class runs from 10am to 12pm and is suitable for children aged 8 – 16. Please let us know the name and age of your child when booking.
