Greek cooking is robust and inviting. It has much in common with general Mediterranean cuisine – fresh, heart-healthy with strong flavour and a love for olives and bread. With every new period in Greek history, a new element was introduced to its food making it a unique cultural blend of spices and ingredients. Make the most of this rich food history by learning a selection of classic Greek dishes.
In this class, we will be making baked stuffed tomatoes and peppers, filled with rice, spices, nuts and herbs. We will also be making mini cheese and spinach filo pies. To finish off, we will be making sticky yoghurt cake with lemon or orange syrup.
Please bring a bag and/or a large container with you so that you can take home some of your delicious creations.
This class runs from 2pm to 4pm and is suitable for children aged 8 – 15. Please let us know the name and age of your child when booking.
