What better way to celebrate the wonderful seasonal produce that Italy has to offer than on our Kids’ Italian cooking class. You will begin by making your own pasta, a very satisfying and versatile skill to learn. Once everybody has made their own dough by hand, you will move on to making some sauces, a puttanesca and a pesto on this class. When all these are ready, we will all go back to the dough, which will have had time to rest so that the gluten has relaxed, and then we will roll, cut and shape it all according to the individual recipes.
Follow this by making some classic amaretti to round off this Italian feast.
Please bring a bag and/or a large container with you so that you can take home some of your delicious creations.
This class runs from 2pm to 4pm and is suitable for children aged 8 – 15. Please let us know the name and age of your child when booking.
