Come and join Richard Bertinet for the morning as you refine those Christmas essentials, mince pies. In this workshop you will be making sweet pastry, learning how to rest and roll your pastry and lining your mince pie trays.
You will fill your pies with our delicious homemade mincemeat, pipe in some crème d’amande and top with flaked almonds before baking. Of course there will be a Bertinet twist to your mince pies, which might involve some rum! There will be plenty of mince pies to sample during the class as well as a glass of our apple cider punch. At end of the class you will leave us with recipes and a dozen mince pies to share…..if you can resist not eating some before you get home that is!
This is a great workshop to come on your own or with a group of friends and you will leave us with the skill of making the perfect mince pie, which you can add to your Christmas traditions.
The workshop starts at 10am and will finish at 12pm.
