We are delighted to launch our new BERTINET loaf tins.
These are last-a-lifetime professional quality tins which will take everything you can throw at them and a whole lot more. But they do need a little work…or you can let us do the work for you.
This listing is for tins that are straight from the factory and “hot off the press”. They are covered in a little bit of factory dust and grime and will need a jolly good clean and dry. Once you have done this they will also need to be seasoned. Full instructions are included with your tin.
Alternatively you can buy them Cleaned & Oiled. We give them a good scrub and then lightly oil them with vegetable oil. Cleaned & Oiled tins cost £1 more. You will still need to season your tin before you can use it.
If you would like us to do the seasoning for you – not a problem! You can buy them ready seasoned for £2 more.
The tins measure 18.5cm x 11.5cm at the top edge and are 9cm deep. They hold an 800g loaf.

IMPORTANT NOTE: These tins are not coated. As such they must not be left wet – even for a moment or two. If you leave them to drain they will rust. Please ensure that you dry them thoroughly after washing or place them into a warm oven to dry that way. Full instructions are included with your tin. Please look out for them.
