A very limited supply of our sourdough starter is available each week. Our starter is at the heart of our sourdough and is what gives it the distinctive and unique Bertinet flavour. Richard has nurtured his starter for more than 15 years and this is the first time that we have made it available for sale so that you can buy a piece to use to make your own sourdough at home with a little touch of Bertinet. The starter is sent out once a week on Wednesday in temperature-controlled packaging. Due to the unique nature of this product, there is a very limited number of batches available.
Ordering info: Our Sourdough starter is available for delivery to the UK only. We cannot dispatch beyond I’m afraid. It is despatched in a Cool-pac to maintain its temperature. If you are outside the UK please consider our dried sourdough starter which can be shipped to all destinations. Please contact us for shipping costs.
