Mezze, small plates and appetizers, are one of our favourite ways to eat and lend themselves perfectly to sharing plates and eating together.
In this middle eastern cooking focused workshop you will be making a collection of vibrant mezze dishes to inspire you to create a seasonal feast. You will be making a courgette and tahini dip before making some lavoush (thin crisp breads) that are ideal for dipping into your courgette and tahini spread. We will then be making a spinach and feta Borek with buttery pastry, salty feta and fresh spinach made into small parcels, ideal to have as part of a mezze feast. Finally you will be making a tomato and pomegranate tabbouleh, a refreshing salad to accompany your mezze dishes. Delicious! These are classic flavours of middle eastern cooking that you will return to and recreate at home.
Please bring a bag and/or a large container with you so that you can take home some of your delicious creations.
